August’s Spectrum Stories journey explores the rich and refreshing world of GREEN.
Inspired by nature, growth and the many layers found within this beautiful colour, this month’s project brings together shades of emerald, teal, turquoise, jade, lime and deep forest green.
The circular design becomes a playful colour study, moving through light, bright and moody green tones. Layers of Lucky Findings Foundations, bold black-and-white pattern, stitching, fabric, lace and tactile embellishments add contrast, texture and movement throughout the piece.
Loose stitching and raw fabric edges keep the project wonderfully imperfect, while the central colour wheel celebrates just how varied a single colour can be.
The finishing GREEN title brings the story together, creating another unique chapter in our year-long exploration of colour.
August is all about GREEN — explore it, layer it, mix it and discover just how many stories one colour can tell.
