November Lime Green Spectrum Stories

Step into the fresh energy of LIME GREEN with the next edition of Spectrum Stories – A Year Through the Colour Wheel.

This edition explores the beautiful versatility of the lime green spectrum — from soft citrus washes and pale yellow-greens through zesty lime and vibrant chartreuse to deeper, earthy shades. Fresh, expressive and full of life, lime green invites us to discover how much variation can exist within one colour family. Throughout this creative journey, we’ll build our pages using layered foundations, collage, paint, mark-making, pattern and texture, combining different shades and values of lime green with crisp black and white details to create contrast and depth. Lime green can feel playful and energetic, soft and organic, weathered and grungy, or bold and graphic. This edition gives us the freedom to explore all of these personalities as we continue building our Spectrum Stories journal. Expect painterly marks, organic circles, grids, distressed details, abstract imagery and beautifully layered mixed-media elements. We’ll experiment, build texture and allow each layer to become part of the story rather than striving for perfection.

As always, Spectrum Stories is about more than colour. It is about slowing down, creating intuitively and allowing our art to hold pieces of our own story.
